FINAL POST FOR MY READERS!!! My public audience should know the different views of marital rape and understand why there may be a number of attitudes towards such a topic. However, I would like my audience to take the information that I am going to share and recognize that such behavior can occur to anyone around us. This is a serious form of domestic violence. There were laws created by different states to either oppose the beliefs against marital rape or agree. I shared the thoughts of why victims may not typically report spousal abuse and the gender inequality that occurs when trying to prosecute an offender in cases like these. Please be aware of people who seem controlling and quickly switch on and off about how they may feel at a given moment.
